Disclaimer

This website (hereafter known as the ‘website’) is a joint initiative of FPS Economy, gas.be, and Synergrid, with the support of the Belgian federal government, Regions, FEBEG and Mr Jean-Marc Delporte, chairman of the management board of FPS Economy (hereafter known as the ‘publisher’).

1. Acceptance of general terms and conditions

We ask the user to carefully read the terms and conditions for using the website as described in this disclaimer. By using the website, the user accepts them unreservedly. The publisher retains the right to modify them at any time.

2. Aim of the site and limitations

This website aims to give web-users information about the arrangements and impact of the campaign to gradually replace low-calorific gas (lean gas) from the Netherlands with another gas that is high-calorific (rich gas). This campaign will take place in Belgium until 2030.

The website provides information of a general nature. It does not claim to be complete and exhaustive or to describe every specific case, whether for organising the conversion of the networks or for the installations and gas appliances.

3. Use of the site

The content of the website is provided to the user solely for the purposes of general information about the operations linked to the conversion of the network from lean gas to rich gas, as well as for raising the awareness of private customers, businesses/employers and authorised technicians about their responsibilities and the roles they must play in this conversion. Nothing on the website can be considered as an offer or service provision or the conclusion of a contract.

The web-user must also take into account the fact that regional legislation or special legislation may bring additional obligations that are not mentioned on the website.

4. Illegal or prohibited use

The user agrees to use the website within the laws and the legal and/or contractual notice. The user may not use it any way that harms third parties. Unless otherwise specified or permission is granted by FPS Economy, the documents and visual media made available through the website cannot be modified by their users.

5. Guarantees and limitations of liability

External websites on which the hyperlinks are found by using the website are not controlled by the publisher and he is not liable for any content that is inappropriate, illegitimate, inaccurate or illegal on these websites or for the hyperlinks that these websites create to other websites.

In general, the publisher cannot in any case be held liable for direct or indirect damage, nor for any other damage of any kind whatsoever, resulting from the use of this website or the impossibility to use it for any reason whatsoever, whether or not this liability is contractual, delict or quasi-delict, or whether it is founded on strict liability or otherwise and even if the same publisher has been advised of the possibility of such damage. The publisher cannot in any way be held responsible for the actions taken by web-users.

6. Intellectual property rights

All of the elements accessible on the website and their compilation and arrangement (texts, images, icons, data, etc.) are protected by the intellectual property rights of their creators.

All the downloadable elements in the communication kit such as brochures, logos, visuals, posters and other media can be freely used on the web, printed, distributed and shared so as to contribute to the dissemination of the information about the conversion from lean gas to rich gas, provided that they are not the subject of a commercial transaction. It is advisable not to modify the texts taken from the site, but to reuse them in their entirety.
